- Cat and Girl
Dorothy Gambrell’s stories from the life of a girl with postmodern leanings and a critical attitude towards both mainstream and hipster culture and an anthropomorphic cat prone to developing highflown plans and cultivating an unhealthy addiction to lead-based paint (also sometimes featuring Boy, Grrrl, an ex-beatnick vampire, Zombie Joseph Beuys, and Bad Decision Dinosaur). Dorothy Gambrell, previously with The Vandervoorts, also plays guitar with The Basement Apartments.
- Chester 5000 XYV
Steampunk erotica by Jessica Fink: The adventures of a robot and the woman he loves.
- Diesel Sweeties
Tales of women, men, and robots, drawn by Richard Stevens in his inimitable pixellated style.
- Dinosaur Comics
How boring is that: a webcomic repeating the exact same six, badly drawn panels each (week) day, featuring the same characters, namely T-Rex, Dromiceiomimus, Utahraptor, and sometimes God or the devil, with only the lettering being different from one installment to the next? Not at all, actually.
- GastroPhobia
The adventures of Phobia, a single mom barbarian warrior living with her 7 year old son Gastro in ancient Greece in 1400 BC.
- Questionable Content
In his web comic, Jeph Jacques lets us follow the life of Marten Reed and his slightly weird assortment of roommates, neighbours, friends, and co-workers. Updated daily from Monday to Friday.
- The Book of Biff
Biff is a stoic, level-headed guy with hypertrophic eyebrows, keeping his calm even in the most absurd and/or adverse situations.
- xkcd
A webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language, according to its author. Apparently, “language” refers to programming languages mostly (no, the universe wasn’t actually written in LISP).
- YU+ME: dream
This webcomic by Megan Rose Gedris started out as a fairly straight-forward lesbian coming-out/coming-of-age story, then it was apparently and disappointingly all just a dream, and now it is getting more and more complex and delightfully weird, reflected in ever changing drawing styles. There is also a more light-hearted (and hilariously funny) comic by the same author: I was Kidnapped by Lesbian Pirates from Outer Space.
