NewtChorder is a guitarist’s tool: you can try out and play various chords. NewtChorder’s main window displays a stylized guitar with six strings and four frets. The frets can actually represent any four consecutive frets on the fretboard. In the pickup area, strings can be picked, either by tapping or with a stroke across a string. Note that more than one string can be picked with a single long stroke. There are two sliders to control volume and distortion. (The actual volume is corrected based on the frequency of the sound to adjust for the deficiencies of the internal speaker.)
